Kerrie Bathje currently serves as Chair of the Anschutz Medical Campus | Fitzsimons Transportation Management Association for the campus community where she works closely with all entities on campus as well as the neighboring facilities on related initiatives to support the campus during the growth and expansion of medical and research facilities.. 
She is Assistant Director is Facilities Support Services at the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus. A Colorado Native born in Denver, Kerrie obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Western State College (Western State Colorado University) in Gunnison Colorado. Her professional career would lead her to what is now over 24 years in the parking and transportation industry which ranges from operating large commercial parking facilities and surface lots in downtown Denver to transportation management at Denver International Airport, transporting millions passengers annually, second only to RTD in the State.
Kerrie was instrumental in the planning, development and startup of the Anschutz Medical Campus Rail Shuttle service that has been operational since late February 2017. The CU Anschutz Medical Campus Rail Shuttle connects with RTD’s R Line at the Fitzsimons Station on north Fitzsimons Parkway. This is a free public service that passengers can take from the rail station into Anschutz Medical Campus. The service supports the University, University of Colorado Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado on campus. The service continues to grow in popularity as it transports over 8,000 passengers each month.
